First, you’ll visit to Taman Ayun Temple, one of the most attractive and most visited temples in Bali. This 17th century creation was built as a family temple of Mengwi Empire and was only accessible for the royals. This temple is declared as part of the world cultural tourism site by UNESCO as it holds a very strong and sophisticated architectural design. Then secondly, you will observe at Subak Museum, a museum collecting the Balinese traditional agriculture tools and old documentation to remind all the young generation about Subak Organization which has famous around the world. Thirdly, you will discover Tabanan Anom Palace, an ancient palace which is one of the remains of the Kingdom of Tabanan. Founded by a Majapahit Knight in 1343, the ancient palace has a complete structure and is still intact. Before on the way to Brahmavihara-Arama, you will enjoy having lunch accompanied by the spectacular lake view of Beratan Lake! After having lunch, you will explore the stunning architecture of Brahmavihara-Arama. It is Bali’s largest Buddhist monastery, located up in the hills of Banjar, Buleleng Regency only 1.5 km west of the Banjar Hot Springs. Opened in 1970, the monastery covers a hectare of hillside, with numerous meditation rooms, libraries, beautiful gardens, and an impressive mini replica of the world’s largest Buddhist archaeological site, Borobudur. Please don’t forget to take your best photo here to keep memorable. This would conclude our trip for the day and we will transfer you back to the hotel/villa.
